Ajay Rao, Naga Shourya, Sana Makbul, and Indraja feature in Trikoti's romantic drama Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya. The protagonist of the tale is 40-year-old bank worker Gopala Krishna (Ajay), who married early under duress from his family. Now settled with his wife Bhavani (Indraja) and two sons, Krishna feels the burden of responsibilities has weighed down his youth and often seeks mental satisfaction by flirting with younger women. The twist begins when both Krishna and his engineering student son, Madhu (Naga Shourya), unknowingly fall for the same young aerobics instructor, Samhitha (Sana Makbul), who is Madhu’s college senior and has taken a loan from the bank where Krishna works. As Krishna befriends and supports Samhitha, even securing a loan for her from a local gangster, Madhu independently also grows attracted to her. The father and son remain unaware of their shared affection initially. When Krishna proposes marriage to Samhitha, Madhu is heartbroken and cuts ties with her, trying to protect his family, especially his mother Bhavani. However, Samhitha plans to marry Krishna, leading to escalating tension. A confrontation involving the police changes the dynamics as truths come out, leading Krishna to acknowledge his long-standing marriage to Bhavani and his errors. In the end, Krishna reunites with Bhavani, Samhitha lets go of her plans, and Madhu manages to reconcile with his family. The film explores complex emotions around love, family, and responsibility through this unusual love triangle.
