In a small village, a sheep named Ram (voiced by Tharun Bhascker), also called Yesu, dreams of reaching a beautiful green meadow he sees from a hilltop. To avoid being sacrificed in a ritual, Ram escapes his village. His journey is rough, as he gets caught in fights between Hindu and Muslim groups over religion and politics. Ram is captured and imprisoned. There, he meets Ravi (Suhas), another prisoner who is jailed for killing the person who murdered his wife.
