In the movie writer ,Arivazhagan, gets the police constable job and reports for duty in Tiruverumbur police station in Tiruchirappalli. He quickly meets head constable Thangaraj, who is fighting for the rights of lower-ranking police officers while managing his complicated adulterous marriage. Thangaraj faces problems due to his activism and is transferred to the Thiruvallikeni police station in Chennai. After shifting to Chennai, he comes across a student Devakumar, doing his PhD. He learns that Devakumar is wrongly taken into custody under unclear circumstances. As tensions grow at the station, Thangaraj forms a friendship with Raja, an ex-convict, while feeling guilty about Deva’s situation. The story becomes more intense when we learn that Deva has been looking into the increasing number of police officer suicides, which results in his dangerous arrest by corrupt officials, including Deputy Commissioner Sharma. As hidden agendas and violence increase, Thangaraj feels more a heavier sense of duty. Putting both of their lives in danger, he starts to uncover the troubling truth about Deva’s detention. Just when hope seems possible, the situation takes a dramatic turn. Will Deva escape a corrupt system? What will Thangaraj do to correct his mistakes? And who will remain unharmed as secrets come to light? In a critical race against time and authority, the situations drive towards a tension filled shocking climax which turns everything upside down.
