Pandu (Sunil) is a well-known criminal who breaks out of Chanchalguda jail and hides in the Narsapur forest near Hyderabad. The police announce a hefty reward of Rs. 1 crore for anyone who catches him. This news attracts a diverse group of people to the forest: two journalists, Sudheer (Sudigali Sudheer) and Preethi (Deepika Pilli), a con artist, a man named Vikram who aspires to be a hero, and a dreamer named Boyapati. They all want the reward for their own reasons—Sudheer needs it to keep his job, Akhil intends to pay off his debts, and Vikram wants to make his movie. In the forest, they run into a tribal girl named Anasuya (Anasuya Bharadwaj). She knows where Pandu is hiding. What follows is a lot of funny chaos as they argue with each other, try to avoid traps in the forest, and fall for Pandu's tricks. We also see flashbacks of Pandu's past, showing how he started as a small-time thief and became a fugitive after a robbery went wrong. A woman named Hasini also helps the group. Anasuya and Sudheer start to develop feelings for each other. The group's greed leads to amusing mistakes, such as mistaking a drunk person for Pandu. In a surprising turn, Pandu gives up.
