Karthik (Praveen Kumar) is a young man who recently moved back to India from the US with his wife and child. He borrows money at high interest to pay for his sick father's (Jayaprakash) surgery. He didn't want to sell their land, as his father wanted to give it to his grandchild. When his father's condition gets worse, Karthik uses the borrowed money for medical expenses. When the moneylender starts threatening him, Karthik and his friend Mani (Bala Saravanan) come up with a plan to secretly blackmail Karthik's ex-girlfriend, Pooja. She is the daughter of a rich businessman. However, Pooja doesn't have money, so she asks Karthik (not knowing he's the blackmailer) to help her blackmail her rich doctor husband, Raghu (Karthik Kumar). Raghu then blackmails a politician, who blackmails a top police officer. Soon, the blackmail scheme gets out of control and reaches Periyavar (Aadukalam Naren), a powerful figure in Delhi. Suspecting something is wrong, Periyavar starts investigating the chain of blackmail. It leads him to Karthik. Will Karthik be able to escape Periyavar's anger? Watch the film to know the answer.
