Raja (Sathyaraj) is a wealthy man returning to India from America. He is confused because many people call him by different names. Later, he sees someone who looks exactly like him, named Quarter Govindan. Quarter Govindan does not have a job and needs money to help his sister (Saranya). Srividya plays his mother’s role. Raja's cousin, Renu (Rupini), wants to marry Raja, but he is not interested in her. He likes Jimikki (Gautami). Raja asks Quarter Govindan to pretend to be him so that Raja can secretly find out who his enemies are.
