Jeeva (GV Prakash) tells a ticket collector on a train why he's going to Kumbakonam. He grew up with two girls, Aditi (Manisha Yadav) and Ramya (Anandhi). In high school, while Aditi was away, Jeeva and Ramya fell in love and became intimate. Jeeva accidentally told a friend, and the news spread, making Ramya furious and causing her to leave Chennai. As Ramya left, Aditi called Jeeva and proposed, which he accepted. Their relationship lasted three years until Jeeva saw Aditi drinking and forced her to quit, as he dislikes women drinking. He later found her drinking again at a club, got angry, and they broke up. Jeeva reaches Kumbakonam and asks his uncle Vishu (VTV Ganesh) for advice, who says there are other girls. Jeeva sees Ramya again and falls for her anew, but she rejects him due to their past. Vishu suggests Jeeva contact Ramya's aunt, played by Simran, for help. Jeeva becomes close to Simran, who helps him win Ramya back. Just as they are about to be together, Jeeva asks Ramya five questions about her life in the past three years, including whether she is a virgin. Ramya admits she isn't, having had sex with her ex-boyfriend, Harish. Jeeva gets angry and makes Ramya call Harish. Harish arrives, saying it only happened once, but Jeeva curses them and leaves.
