Thirupathi (Ajith) is a sound service shopowner with a loving family. He meets Priya (Sadha), a beautician—and romance blossoms between them. Meanwhile, Thirupathi is friends with Muthu (Riaz Khan), the son of a powerful State Minister. Thirupathi is loyal to Muthu. However, Muthu is not a true friend and uses Thirupathi as a thug while pretending to be supportive. Later, Thirupathi's sister unexpectedly dies during childbirth due to the greed of Muthu's brother. At that time, he understands the true evil nature of Muthu. Thirupathi becomes devastated and enraged. He promises to destroy Muthu and his brother. As he seeks revenge, Thirupathi understands that simply killing two individuals won't solve the larger problem. He then devises a plan to pass a law in the state assembly that provides free medical care for all childbirth cases, including surgeries, in all hospitals.
