Srinivasa "Vasu" believes that marriage is the biggest celebration in life, even though he lives away from his family. His cousin, Padmavathi "Paddu," is secretly in love with him and plans to propose when he visits. Vasu, who is an architect in Chandigarh, unexpectedly falls for Sridevi "Sri." Though Sri is from a very rich family, she likes to lead a very simple and normal life. Their love grows after they attend their friend Priya’s wedding, and Vasu decides to propose to Sri. However, her father, R. K., sees marriage as just a deal and wants Sri to experience life outside their family business before making any commitments. When Vasu asks R. K. for his blessing, R. K. agrees but wants Vasu to sign a premarital agreement. Vasu feels torn between love and tradition. Vasu agrees to get into the agreement, but he puts a condition to R.K. for him to sign on that agreement. He tells that R. K. has to be involved in all the wedding preparations, hoping to change his viewpoint about marriage. As the wedding day nears, tensions rise as Paddu's feelings become clearer. Just as the ceremony starts, a secret threatens to ruin everything. Kavya, Sri's sister, finds out about the agreement, causing emotions to soar. Will love overcome tradition and misunderstandings, or will this day end in heartbreak? As Vasu struggles with guilt and his commitment, the fate of several relationships hangs in the balance especially between Vasu, Sri and Paddu.
