Sotta Sotta Nanaiyuthu revolves around the life of Raja (Nishanth Russo). He is a wealthy young man from Karaikudi. He is deeply conscious of his receding hairline. His insecurity reaches a peak when he is about to marry Priya (Shaalini), a kind and understanding woman. However, a misunderstanding involving a video causes Raja to doubt the relationship. He walks away from the marriage at the last minute. He faces a heartbreak. Then, he moves to Chennai and undergoes a physical transformation. He resurfaces with a full head of hair.
