Sathyaraj and Kalabhavan Mani are friends. Sathyaraj aspires to go abroad. Sathyaraj, in a mix up, kidnaps Devayani. Devayani initially dislikes Sathyaraj but later she develops a soft corner for Sathyaraj. Meanwhile, Kalabhavan Mani loves Devayani. Who becomes Devayani's consort is the movie climax.
