Senior Tollywood hero Akkineni Nageswara Rao plays the role of Seetharamaiah, a respectable elder from a village in the East Godavari district. A young girl arrives unexpectedly during a wedding celebration at Seetharamaiah's home. She is the daughter of Seetharamaiah's son, who departed from India many years ago. Due to differing viewpoints, the father and son have ceased communication, leading the son to move to America. Even as a child, the son longed to be with his father but was never invited, which kept him away. When the granddaughter attends the wedding, she explains that her parents couldn't make it because of work commitments. Seetharamaiah feels a mix of pride and frustration, especially since his granddaughter shares his name and embodies the musical heritage that others in the family have neglected. Seetharamaiah is the person who values the relationship with his son more than his ego. He tells Rohini that he had written a letter to Vasu to come down. The thoughtful grandfather always hoped his son would return to him with kids, and Seetharamaih even learned English for their sake! Seetha watches him with awe when he recites poetry. The granddaughter's presence rekindles connections among family members and bridges the gap between the estranged grandparents. However, when Seetharamaiah realizes he cannot bear to be without her after he faces the loss of his wife. He initially asks his granddaughter to leave when he is upset with his son for not returning. The star cast did a tremendous job, and the film's music is fabulous. The movie Seetharamayya Gari Manavaralu is a treat to watch.
