Thiyagu (Vikram), a medical student, goes to see his friend Varadharajan (Chinni Jayanth). On the way, he meets Deiva (Anita Hassanandani), a cheerful schoolgirl living with her grandmother (Vadivukkarasi). Sandana Pandian (Nassar) is Deiva's father, a cop. Thiyagu and Sandana Pandian have a small problem in the beginning. However, after a while, Sandana Pandian understands that Thiyagu is a good person. Thiyagu and his friends are rebels who fight for social causes. Once, they plan to kidnap a corrupt politician. Thiyagu then finds out that Sandana Pandian's family is the politician's neighbour and friend. Sandana Pandian is assigned the duty of investigating the kidnap case.
