Rudrangi is an epic drama starring Jagapathi Babu and Vimala Raman. Senior hero and versatile actor Jagapathi Babu plays the role of Bheemrao Deshmukh, who rules the village of Rudrangi, and he has a wife named Meerabai, played by heroine Vimala Raman. He controls all the people in the town. He brings Jwalamukhi, played by Mamta Mohandas, as his second wife. Meerabai is a soft-natured woman, while Jwalamukhi is a strong and independent-natured woman. Bheemrao neglects Jwalamukhi and cannot become close to her. Meanwhile, Jwala gets attracted to a man named Mallesh, played by Asish Gandhi, who works in their house, Bheemrao. Bheemrao gets attracted towards a village girl named Rudrangi, played by Ganavi Lakshman. Mallesh and Rudrangi are childhood friends who later became lovers. They both decided to get married. Unfortunately, both get entangled in the rivalry involving the feudal Bheemrao. Jwala forces Mallesh to have intimacy with her. But he refused to do it, saying that he wanted to marry Rudrangi. Bheemrao, who likes Rudrangi and looks very beautiful, desires physical contact with her. When she refuses, Bheemrao threatens to destroy the village if she does not satisfy him. So she agreed to it. Meerabai and Jwala prepare her like a bride and send her to Bheemrao’s room. Meanwhile, Jwala asks Mallesh to satisfy her if he wants Rudrangi back safely. What happens next?
