A journalist (Shraddha Srinath) wants to find out who Richie (Nivin Pauly) really is. Different people see him in different ways. Kaka Peter (Kumaravel) thinks Richie works for a bad guy named Isaac Annachi (GK Reddy), who almost killed him. But Murugesh (Aadukalam Murugadoss) sees Richie as a kind friend. Richie's father, Sagayam (Prakash Raj), is a priest who thinks Richie is beyond help. And Raghu (Raj Bharath), a former friend, sees Richie as someone who ruins his plans. Richie is a remake of a Kannada movie. It is about people dealing with difficult situations. Richie can't get over the fact that his friend and father left him when he needed them. Raghu cares more about his own safety because he ran away from a gang with a valuable statue. This also affects his mother, Radha (Thulasi), who misses her lost son. Peter has to face problems after going against Isaac Annachi. Meanwhile, Selvam (Natty) comes to this place to forget his past and likes Peter's sister, Philomina (Lakshmi Priyaa). The movie tells the story in a modern way. The director breaks the movie into chapters to show us about Richie and what happened before. In each chapter, there's a small story about the treasure, which represents the happiness that these characters could have but keep missing. All the actors have performed well. Overall, Richie is an interesting action thriller.
