Ranasthali is an action revenge drama starring Dharma, Ammu Abhiram, Banerje and Chandini Rao. Ammulu (Chandini Rao) who lost her parents in childhood lives in her brother-in-law Basava’s (Dharma) house. Basava is a mother-less child. As Ammulu likes him so much, Basava’s father (Sammeta Gandhi) gets them married. As their family has debts, he goes to work under the village head Chakravarti (Banerje).Village life and village culture are shown well in the film. Unexpectedly, Ammulu and Chakravarthi are murdered brutally. As Basava lost his beloved wife, his heart has broken. From then, he faced many challenges in life. Then he decides to kill the one who murdered Ammulu. For that, he has been waiting in the forest alone for a chance to kill the murderers without going home. Actually, a group of people kill Basava’s wife and the village head Chakravarthi for some reason. Basava put all his efforts and search for some clues that reveal the details of murderers. He lives in the forest for a long time to find the information about them.
