Rakhi is an emotional film directed by Krishna Vamsi that explores the bond between siblings. Rama Krishna( Jr. NTR) dreams of becoming a railway stationmaster like his dad, Chandramohan. His love interest and best friend, Tripura (Ileana D'Cruz), is a reporter who shines a light on women's struggles in society. For Rakhi, his sister Gayathri (Manjusha) means everything. After marrying a software engineer named Ravi Varma, who plans to move to the USA, Gayathri's in-laws, driven by greed, tragically set her on fire over dowry demands. This devastating incident pushes Rakhi to take action against those who harm women. A police officer, Meenakshi Iyer (Suhasini), tries to convince him to turn himself in. By the time he does, he has already taken out over forty-nine men who mistreat women. While in prison, he confronts and kills the man responsible for his sister's friend's death, and in a thrilling climax, he faces off against the main villain, a corrupt minister. His powerful courtroom speeches and the following legal battles comprise the rest of the story.NTR Jr. is down to earth in this movie. He excels as the son of a lower-middle-class railway ticket collector. The role of NTR in this movie is very versatile, and the role of Tripura(Ileana) is also remarkable, not just to put her as a namesake.
