



Raghavan is a neo-noir action thriller. It is a Telugu dubbed version of the Tamil film “Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu”. Directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, the film stars Kamal Haasan as DCP Raghavan IPS and Jyothika plays Aradhana. The story begins with DCP Raghavan investigating a case. Rani, the daughter of a former SP, is murdered. Six months later, Rani's parents are brutally killed in New York. Raghavan goes to New York. He works with the NYPD in collaboration with Detective Anderson. Raghavan stays at a hotel in NYC, where he meets Aradhana. They become friends. Raghavan and Detective Anderson find a link. Rani's murder is connected to other unsolved cases. This leads them to two Indian doctors. Their names are Amudhan Sukumaran and Ilamaaran Aanandhan. They are serial killers. Raghavan confronts them. Anderson is killed. Raghavan gets injured. Amudhan then reveals their dark past. They started violence as children. They killed Rani and her parents. This was due to an old assault and a feeling of disrespect. The killers escape to India. They leave many bodies behind. Raghavan recovers from his injuries. He returns to Chennai with Aradhana. Amudhan then kidnaps Aradhana. Raghavan chases them down. He eventually kills both Amudhan and Ilamaaran. He saves Aradhana. The film ends with Raghavan and Aradhana marrying. It's a gripping story of a determined cop. He faces a brutal enemy. He protects the innocent and seeks justice.
