Pravarakhyudu is a 2009 Telugu romantic comedy. It's about a man who doesn't believe in love. The story revolves around Sasi Kumar (Jagapathi Babu), a brilliant professor in the USA. Sasi returns to India and takes up a job as a professor in a women's college. At the college, he begins a project - to prove that love is nothing but a chemical reaction. He picks five students for an "experiment." It is at this moment that he comes face-to-face with Shailaja (Priyamani), the college’s principal. Shailaja and Sasi were college sweethearts, but she leaves him after understanding his views on love. Sasi was and is someone who sees the relationship between men and women as a sexual interaction. Even now, Sasi tries to convince her of his ideas. He argues that her belief is wrong. This creates a funny clash between them. Later, Shailaja learns about Sasi’s painful past - Sasi came from a broken family, which shaped his views. However, Shailaja's strong faith makes him question his own beliefs. He also begins to feel a growing attraction to her. The film shows Sasi's journey. How he comes to learn about real emotions, how he faces his past while mending the present. Towards the climax, it shows how Sasi tries to win Shailaja's heart, and in the process, he goes from a non-believer to a believer. The film is a visual representation of how love trumps all.
