Prahlad is the story of a young prince born to the evil, powerful, and immortal demon king Hiranyakashipu aspiring to be a god. Prahlad ardently worships Lord Vishnu instead of his father, which angers the king and he subjects Prahlad to various atrocities until Lord Vishnu is forced to intervene.
