2017 film, ‘Pickles’ deals with the story of a group of people with different mentalities. They all want to achieve their dreams. Arvind, is an youngster very much passionate about films. He is from a metro city. His dream is to become a great film maker, he wants to fulfil his dream and starts forming a team for the same. He has a childhood friend named Shruthi and she is the first to get in to the team. Then comes in Walter, whose dream is to become like James Cameroon. Next is a ruthless dictator, named Thanes. Next is Kaly, who is a play writer from a village background. And finally Sarah, who works as a receptionist. None from the above team have any idea about making a film. But they stubbornly want to produce a film. Then starts the laughter ride, with the problems they faced at every step. Their equipment goes missing. One of them has problems with his wife. She is always behind him and torturing him. After filming a part, the funds in hand dry out and they get into financial troubles. They face funny problems and troubles through the costume designer they have hired, who is a bisexual. Another problem shows up in the form of a love triangle, from the team they selected to make the film. The list goes on, like their haunted office building, unexpected threats from the mafia.
