Ottu movie is about what happens, if a gangster forgets his past. Kittu, played by hero Kunchako Boban, is trying to go abroad with his girlfriend, Kalyani, played by heroine Eesharebba. But since he needs a lot of money, he makes a deal through his close uncle (Aadukalam Naren). A gangster named Assigner dies in an attack. Assigner's trusted pawn, David, alias Dawood, played by Arvind Swamy, changes his past in the same gang war. Kittu makes a deal to remind David of his past for money. He becomes friends with David. Kittu, who thinks that taking him to where David was attacked will surely bring back old memories, sets out with David from Mumbai to Udupi.
