Nuvvu Thopu Raa film revolves around a guy named Suri, a carefree person who lives life as it comes, and a girl named Ramya, who is self-assured, mentally strong, and belongs to a middle-class family. He fell in love the moment he saw her. But before accepting his proposal, she took her own time to ensure she could tackle him. However, he breaks up with her because of his egotistic and careless attitude. Ramya was affected by it, but as she was mentally strong, she gathered herself and moved to the USA. Suri starts a new journey by moving to the USA. He goes through many ups and downs there and finally realises his mistake. Suri misses Ramya and recognises the worth of his mother's love. He established an emotional connection with his mother and his sister. Ramya's influence in his life and the love she gave him motivated him to change his attitude towards life. He tries to get her back. Suri wanted to be a green card holder, Ramya being one of the main factors for his decision. As he works in a gas station there, he has only one holiday and can't afford to take a day off. To prepare for that one, he has 100 days in his hand. Suri gets involved with illegal people, like criminals, drug peddlers, etc, to get his green card. His love for Ramya and affection towards his mother bring him to the right path. The rest of the story is about how Ramya's love for him helps him find the purpose of his life and authentic self and uplift himself.
