The movie is about how close a grandfather and his grandson are. Elango (Elvis Alexander) had to take care of his mother and sister from a young age. His grandfather (Poo Ramu), a simple farmer, raised him in their village. Elango always wanted a better life because his uncle (Mime Gopi) looked down on him. Elango falls in love with a girl (Anjali Nair) from his village. Now, he doesn't know if he should choose his family or his lover. His grandfather tells him it's not right to chase after a girl when his family needs him. But Elango feels like the girl has made his life easier and doesn't want to lose her. Will he listen to his grandfather's advice? Poo Ramu acts very well as a caring grandfather, and he is the main strength of the movie. Anjali also acts decently. Elango's acting is okay. Mime Gopi plays a role that fits him. The movie pays attention to small details, like getting the local way of speaking right. Even though the love story is a bit different, some parts of the movie are predictable.
