Bharath (Rajinikanth) is a young man who finds out who his father is from his mother, Shanti (Sharada), as she is dying. She tells him that a rich man named Gopinath tricked her in their village. Gopinath promised to marry her but then left her. Shanti made Bharath promise to make Gopinath tell the truth about what he did. Bharath goes to the city and meets Gopinath. He doesn't tell Gopinath the truth about who he is at first. Instead, he uses smart ways to take Gopinath's money and starts his own successful business, becoming Gopinath's competitor. This makes Gopinath very angry. Bharath tries to get Gopinath to admit what he did to his mother, but Gopinath refuses. Gopinath loses his business and his money. At one point, Bharath invites Gopinath to officially open his new orphanage. During this event, Bharath reveals who his mother is and the truth about Gopinath's past. Mr. Bharath is an interesting story about revenge. Rajinikanth is excellent in his role, as he usually is. Ambika plays the woman he loves in the movie. Sathyaraj is great as the bad guy, giving a unique performance. The other actors in the movie, including Goundamani, SVe Shekhar, Raghuvaran, Visu, Vadivukkarasi, Jothichandra, and Delhi Ganesh, all do a fantastic job. The scenes between Rajinikanth and Sathyaraj are fun to watch. The movie also has some good punchlines. Overall, Mr. Bharath is an interesting movie that you can watch with your family.
