The movie is about a middle-class man named Madhavan (Prabhu), a young lawyer. He works under Visu. Madhavan's father (Delhi Ganesh) is retired and doesn't take responsibility. He likes playing cards more than finding husbands for his two unmarried daughters. Certain things make Madhavan marry Abhirami (Abhirami) before his sisters get married. This is very unusual in their culture. Because of family reasons, Madhavan and Abhirami can't have their first night together after getting married. But, they really want to. Meanwhile, Madhavan's sisters find men they want to marry. One is an auto driver named Kuzhandaivelu (Vadivelu), and the other is an unemployed man named Manimaran (Vivek). Manimaran boasts that he comes from a royal family. Madhavan arranges his sisters' weddings. He is always busy making sure everyone else in his family is happy. As a result, he and Abhirami still can't enjoy being a married couple. The rest of the story is about how Madhavan and Abhirami finally get to be together as husband and wife and how they convince their family about it. Many comedy scenes throughout the movie make the viewers laugh and enjoy. Prabhu has done a fantastic job as Madhavan. Abhirami also fits her role well.
