A rich man, Venugopal, has four babies at once. His evil brother, Nandagopal, tries to get a group of thugs to kill the mother and the babies. But the leader of the thugs, Alex, has a change of heart. Instead of killing them, he takes one baby (Michael), leaves one at a children's home (Subramaniam Raju), leaves one at a temple (Kameshwaran, who a cook adopts), and leaves one in Venugopal's car (Madanagopal). Thirty years later, Madan is a businessman who studied in London. Venugopal raised Madan as his adopted son, not knowing he was his own child. Nandagopal and his nephew Ramu seemingly kill Venugopal for his money, but they don't know that Madan is already named as the one who will inherit everything. Madan comes back to Bangalore to take over his father's company. He confronts his father's assistant, Avinashi, for stealing money but agrees to forgive him if Avinashi admits he did wrong. In Madras, Michael and Alex run a fake money business. While running from the police, Michael accidentally starts a fire in an art gallery. Raju, a firefighter, saves the artist Shalini and her paintings, and they fall in love. Kameshwaran, a cook for weddings, meets Thirupu and her grandmother at a wedding and eventually marries Thirupu. Someone calls Madan and tells him his father's death was planned, not an accident, and asks him to meet in Madras.
