Vijay Sethupati plays the role of a well-educated youngster, Badri, who has progressive thinking. Badri returns to his village after a long exile. He observes that villagers are still using the age-old traditional methods of farming and are facing hard times. A businessman named Nagabhushanam, played by Jagapathi Babu, has the farmer unions in his hand. With his money power, Nagabhushanam is ruling over the lands of the village and the entire farmer community. Badri decides to go against his atrocities and do good for the farmers of his village. Badri, with the help of his friends, initiates a new and progressive farming method. Nagabhushanam and his allies don’t like his efforts, which in turn causes losses to them. Badri helps the farmers learn about the greatness of united farming and the profits it brings them. Nagabhushanam and his alloys conspire to damage Badir’s character and, thereby, his efforts to mess with their business. The villagers support and back up Badri’s ideologies. They elect Badrii as their village president. Badri decides and implements his new techniques to give a new touch to farming. Clara, played by Sruthi Hassan, is Badri’s lady love. Clara helps Badri face the goons of Nagabhushanam’s goons. In due time, Badri takes the gifted lands back to the public and encourages them to farm.
