Krishnastami tells the story of Krishna (played by Sunil). Krishna is an NRI who wants to return to his village in India. Though his uncle isn't too keen on this idea, Krishna is determined and hops on a flight to India. On his journey, he has a stopover in Europe, where he meets Pallavi (Nikki Galrani), a lively girl with her own unique philosophy on life. There's an immediate spark, and they fall in love. Along with Pallavi, he also meets Ajay, and they become friends. However, things become complicated once they arrive in India. Due to some unexpected circumstances, he pretends to be Ajay and stays at his uncle's house. Ajay's house has a typical Rayalaseema family setting. While Krishna faces trouble getting used to the setting, things take an unexpected turn when an unknown group targets him! What happens next is an engaging tale that shows Krishna trying to come out of the complicated situation. It shows his struggle as he tries to find who his attackers are and the reason for the attack. It's a fun journey filled with action sequences, some comedy, and emotional family moments as he tries to sort out his past and secure his future, both with his family and his newfound love. It's one of those films that combines a variety of familiar elements, aiming to deliver a complete commercial entertainer.
