Kranthi is a murder mystery movie starring the lead role of Ram (Rakendu Mouli). Ram is an active person who aspires to become a police officer. He gets selected for SI training. Ram is deeply in love with Sandhya (Inaya Sultana). She asks Ram to talk to her father about their love. Unfortunately, Sandhya gets murdered before Ram comes to speak. Ram becomes emotional and cannot control himself. This leaves him in depression for a long time. A few months later, a girl named Ramya (Sravani Shetty) also goes missing similarly. Ram takes up Ramya's missing case and becomes active to find her quickly. While searching for Ramya, Ram sees some connection between Sandhya's murder and Ramya's missing case. Meanwhile, a few more missing complaints have been registered in Kakinada. Ram looks into those cases and tries restlessly to trace clues to find the culprit. Knowing the seriousness, as many girls have gone missing, Ram continued investigating without leaving anything behind. The gripping tale deals with the problems that women face in society.
