In a village in Andhra Pradesh, terrible crimes are scaring everyone: women are raped, killed, and burned with kerosene, and no one can find any clues. ACP Vaibhav (Dhruva Vaayu) is a determined police officer who takes charge to find the killer. As he investigates, he sees a pattern in the attacks that connects them to a smart criminal. Gauri (Lavanya Chewula), the daughter of a villager named Ramappa, becomes a victim, which makes Vaibhav even more determined to catch the killer. A local politician, Dorababu (Brahmaji), tells a police officer, SI Jivin, to close Gauri's case with fake clues to protect the real bad guys. Vaibhav keeps digging, which makes Dorababu and his friend, a thug named Subbaiah angry. Gauri's friend Kranti (Preetei Sundar) helps Vaibhav because she is extremely sad about what happened. As Vaibhav figures out the secret plan, he faces threats and the villagers become restless. A very important person who saw something, Chinna, tells Vaibhav that Subbaiah was involved in the murders, which are connected to a plan to steal land. Vaibhav's investigation shows that Dorababu is greedy and is protecting Subbaiah. In a fiery ending, Vaibhav sets a trap for Subbaiah in a field covered in kerosene. He finally arrests Subbaiah. Dorababu loses his power as Vaibhav brings justice for Gauri and the other victims. Kranti feels at peace, and the village starts to recover. Kerosene is a good film to watch with family.
