





Kavacham is a 2018 Telugu action thriller that revolves around Inspector Vijay (Bellamkonda Sreenivas), a sincere police officer based in Vizag. His life takes a dramatic turn when he saves a young woman, Lavanya (Mehreen Pirzada), from a group of thugs. Believing she is an ordinary girl eloping with her boyfriend, Vijay offers to help her. During this time, he also finds himself falling for Samyukta (Kajal Aggarwal), a charming café waitress after she diligently returns his lost wallet. However, he finds out that Samyukta is engaged to be married. This leaves him heartbroken. Meanwhile, Lavanya, who has now befriended him, shares that she is the niece of a wealthy industrialist, Mahendra Varma (Mukesh Rishi). As all this happens, Vijay's mother gets into an accident and needs an urgent surgery. Lavanya then proposes her fake kidnapping to secure a ransom. Facing financial pressure for his mother's health emergency, Vijay agrees. However, following the kidnap, Vijay is shocked to know that Samyukta, not Lavanya, is the niece of Mahendra Varma, and that she was kidnapped. He also discovers that he had been framed for her actual kidnapping. Now a fugitive, Vijay attempts to locate Samyuktha while also evading the police. Vijay's efforts help him uncover the truth, including his mother's accident, was orchestrated by Vikramaditya Varma. The film is a fast-paced cat-and-mouse game where Vijay uses his strength to expose Vikramaditya, rescue Samyukta.
