Father Kuriakose (Nassar) is the strict warden of a boys' dorm. He believes in rules. But many of the boys in the dorm either drink or roam around with girls. The main guy, Kathir (Ashok Selvan), is always behind girls, ogling at them. One day, a girl named Adhirshtalakshmi (Priya Bhavani Shankar) meets Kathir in a park, and when they converse, she understands that he needs money. She promises to offer him a lot of money if he helps her sneak into the boys' dorm where he lives. Kathir agrees to this proposal because he thinks it's an easy way to get money. A lot of funny things happen when Adhirshtalakshmi gets trapped in the dorm with all the students, the strict warden, and his helper, Sathappan (Munishkanth). The rest of the story tells us why Adhirshtalakshmi wanted to get into the dorm and what secrets are hidden there. Ashok Selvan plays a student in his last year at the dorm who doesn't have any big plans for the future. Ravi Maria plays Priya Bhavani Shankar's father. Hostel is a good mystery thriller.
