Gemini is about two rowdies in Chennai, Gemini (Vikram) and Teja (Kalabhavan Mani). Gemini's friend is killed by Teja's friend. Gemini and his gang find the killer and kill him. This starts a big fight between them. Kalabhavan Mani acts perfectly as the bad guy. He makes people laugh by acting like animals. His character, Teja, is one of the best in Tamil movies. Gemini falls in love with Manisha (Kiran), a North Indian, at first sight. He even goes to evening college for her. A new police chief, Singaperumal, arrests both Teja and Gemini off the record, hoping they'll kill each other in a private cell. Gemini tricks Teja into pleading guilty and feigning reform, leading to their release. Manisha learns Gemini's true identity and is disgusted, prompting him to genuinely change to win her back. The movie moves very fast. For Vikram, this movie is easy and fun. Kiran fits her role. She doesn't really act much; she looks pretty. Characters like Kai, Annamma, and the police officer are well-made. The dialogue in the movie is good.
