Friendship is about a group of mechanical engineering students, Bhagat Singh (Harbhajan Singh), Jeeva (Sathish), and Anita (Losliya). Anita is a very outgoing and fearless person who is friendly with everyone and always happy. She is a carefree girl. She doesn't seem bothered even when her picture is morphed to make her look unpleasant. However, the movie reveals that Anita has cancer. Then, in a shocking turn, she is also gang-raped and murdered. Suddenly, the movie shifts from a typical college story to a courtroom drama. It involves innocent girls, greedy rich men, dishonest police officers, arrogant politicians, and lawyers with no morals and manners. There is also a lawyer who acts like a vigilante, played by Arjun. He is good in the role. Watch the movie to learn what happens in the second half and whether criminals are punished.
