Jamuna (Aishwarya Rajesh) is a cab driver. Her mother is a bedridden, partially paralysed woman. Their family has a past that is not revealed earlier on. Jamuna's late father was also a cab driver. Her younger brother works for an IT firm in Bangalore. She has a sister whose husband creates problems in her life, too. One ride turns Jamuna's life upside down. Three men book her cab from Chengalpattu to ECR. One among them is a drug addict. Eventually, an aspiring musician, Abhishek, joins them on a sharing basis. Jamuna is in for a shock when she receives a call from the local cops, who warn her that the three men in her cab are contract killers and criminals on the wanted list. On a parallel track, the viewers are introduced to politician Maragadhavel (Aadukalam Naren) and his son Manikam (Manikandan).
