Andha Oru Nimidam is a thriller drama starring Kamal Hassan, Urvashi and Major Sundarrajan. Kumar (Kamal Hassan) who is a lawyer and also involved in the activities of social work loves Vasanthi (Urvashi) who is a village girl. Vasanthi’s grandfather (Srinivaasan) works as a driver in Raj Shekar’s (Major Sundarrajan) house. Raja Shekar is involved in in the making of bombs, illegal money and blue films. Unexpectedly, Raj Shekar murders Madhan who is his partner as well as friend. The he frames that Urvashi’s grandfather has killed him and puts him behind bars. However, he escapes from the jail and comes to kill Raj Shekar. Unfortunately, he is killed by Raj Shekar in front of Kumar and Vasanthi. Kumar and Vasanthi decide to catch the culprit and punish him before anyone else is killed in the hands of Raja Shekar. Kumar tries to prove in the court that Raj Shekar is the culprit. But he loses the case as there was no evidence. So, Kumar starts investigation with the help of Vasanthi to find the evidence of both murders of Madhan and Vasanthi’s grandfather. They dig deeper to find the strong evidence to prove the crimes committed by Raja Shekar. While trying to prove that Raj Shekar is the murderer, Kumar’s family and Vasanthi faced problems and their lives are in danger. Why did Raj Shekar kill Madhan?
