7/G Rainbow Colony revolves around Kadhir (Ravikrishna), a young man living in a housing unit with his parents. He belongs to a middle-class family and is an underachiever. He always roams around with his group of friends. Anitha (Sonia Agarwal), a North Indian girl, moves into the same neighbourhood. Anitha goes to college. They were once rich but then lost all their money and had to move into such a place. They want to marry Anitha off to a rich person in their community so that her life gets settled. Kadhir falls in love with Anitha the moment he sees her. Anitha doesn’t like him initially. However, he continues to follow her, and she accepts him as a friend. She has feelings for him, but due to her family situation, she doesn’t openly accept his love. What happens between the two in the course of time is the crux of the film. The first half is fun, and the second half is emotional. Does Anitha and Kadhir end up in marriage? To know the answer, watch the film. The acting by Sonia Agarwal is too good.
