Kalyan, played by Kiran Abbavaram, is a naughty Engineering student. His father, Dharma, was once a wealthy businessman running a marriage hall named SR Kalyana Mandapam. Kalyan’s grandfather had established it. Dharma has lost all his wealth due to his unaccounted charity and recklessness. Dharma is a liquor addict now, and the family is in financial trouble. Kalyan, who once loved his father the most, hates his father and is not on good terms with him. Kalyan is in love with his classmate Sindhu. Sindhu’s father is egoistic and doesn’t accept his daughter’s love with Kalyan. Kalyan wants to bring back the old glory of SR Kalyanamandapam, founded by his grandfather. He, along with his friends, starts working hard towards his goal. At the same time, he comes to know why his father has changed like this and his silent affection towards Kalyan. Kalyan starts working towards rebuilding his relationship with his father. In this process, Sindhu’s father puts his love at stake, trying to get his daughter married to another person. Sindhu’s marriage with another person is set to take place in SR Kalyanamadapam, which is run by Kalyan and breaks his heart. Dharma learns about Kalyan’s love for Sindhu and how her father denied giving his daughter’s hand. The rest of the story tells how Kalyan rebuilt his relationship with his father Dharma and how Dharma brings back Kalyan’s love by proving himself to be a transformed and responsible father.
