Subrahmanyam (Rao Ramesh) is an unemployed middle-aged man. He holds onto the hope of getting a government teaching job he was promised in 1998, which is now stuck in a court case. He lives off his wife Kalarani’s (Indraja) earnings, constantly facing teasing from his mother-in-law (Annapurnamma) and ridicule for not having a job. His son, Arjun (Ankith Koyya), is a carefree dreamer who falsely claims to be related to actor Allu Arjun. He falls for Kanchana (Ramya Pasupuleti) and proposes to her right away, only to be rejected by her father. One day, 10 lakh rupees mysteriously appears in Subrahmanyam’s bank account. He turns very happy. He and Arjun start spending the money freely. They are not bothered about where it truly came from. Their thoughtless spending leads to a series of funny problems, drawing attention from a local police officer who is investigating the funds. As the family dreams of a new home and Arjun's marriage to Kanchana, the truth about the money comes out, getting them caught in a web of misunderstandings and chaos. Subrahmanyam tries to fix the problems, but they get worse. Arjun adds to the chaos. The story builds to a chaotic ending, mixing humour and tension. Subrahmanyam confronts where the money came from and fights to protect his family’s dreams. Will he clear up the mess, get the job, and fulfil Kalarani’s hope for a home? The ending reveals if Arjun wins Kanchana’s heart and if the family can overcome their money problems and social struggles. Maruthi Nagar Subrahmanyam is an interesting watch.
