Animated adventure film, “The Adventures of Tintin” released in 2011 and is based on the Tintin comic book series. It is set in post-war Brussels around a young journalist named Tintin who finds a model ship called the Unicorn at a market, together with his faithful dog Snowy. Soon, he meets an Interpol officer named Barnaby and a ship collector named Ivan Ivanovitch Sakharine, both wanting to buy the model. When Tintin gets home, he accidentally breaks the model during a chase and discovers a hidden scroll inside it, which he initially misses. Meanwhile, two clumsy detectives, Thomson and Thompson, are chasing a known pickpocket named Aristides Silk. While looking into the Unicorn's mysterious past at the Maritime Library, Tintin finds his apartment turned over and the model missing. He suspects Sakharine and confronts him, but learns there are two models. The situation gets more dangerous when Barnaby is killed while trying to recover the Unicorn. This pushes Tintin into a risky adventure on the SS Karaboudjan, where he meets the drunken Captain Haddock. Tintin and Snowy work together to escape danger while searching for scrolls that lead to lost treasure. Their adventure goes from the deserts of Morocco to Brussels as they chase Sakharine. Then comes the final battle, where Tintin and Captain Haddock confront Sakharine. We get to watch great sword fights and exciting chases. Will they find the scrolls in time? Can they solve the mystery of the Unicorn's treasure before it’s too late? The outcome is uncertain as they get closer to the truth.
