Yatra 2 is a 2024 Indian Telugu political film by Mahi V. Raghav. It stars Mammootty as Y. S. Rajasekhar Reddy and Jiiva as Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. This sequel to Yatra depicts Jagan's padayatra for the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, son of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy, who passed away in a helicopter crash in 2009, begins the 'Odarpu Yatra'. This trip aims to console families impacted by his father's passing. But party leaders of the Progress Party mislead their national Suzanne Madam Suzanne Bernert into believing Jagan wishes to split the party. Even though Jagan and his mother, Vijayamma, show their true intentions, Suzanne insists on controlling Jagan’s actions. Jagan chooses to step away from his Member of Parliament position along with, leaving the party to pursue his own political career. His bold move to leave the Progress Party resulted in multiple legal actions launched by his former leaders, which led to his imprisonment. Although the circumstances try to push him, Jagan shows great strength as he refuses to concede to pressure. His work reveals a strong will to carry out his father's goal for the state and to assist the people of Andhra Pradesh. After years of work and overcoming a number of obstacles, Jagan eventually became Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in 2019.
