Vallamai is a Tamil movie about a father and daughter. The story begins in a quiet village where Saravanan (Premgi Amaren) lives with his young daughter Boomika (Dhivadarshini). Saravanan’s wife has passed away, and after her death, his health becomes weak. He loses his hearing. He wants a better future for his daughter. So, he decides to move from the village to Chennai to avail the opportunities. In the city, Saravanan works hard to support Boomika and tries to give her a normal life. When things were going fine, one day, Boomika gets into trouble. This event brings a lot of pain and heartbreak for both of them. They seek help from the police, but they don't receive the support they expect. As they struggle to find answers and support, Boomika and her father are forced to face many emotional and social difficulties. However, they don't give up. Boomika tells her father that running away from problems will not solve anything. Instead, they choose to stand up to their challenges and try to find the person responsible for the bitter incident.
