Venkatesh playes the role of Harischandra Prasad, a most respected man in the village. All the village public remember him whenever they are into any troubles or difficulties. He always ensures everyone around him are happy. However, he has a serious rivalry with Singaraju Lingaraju (Anand Raj). Harischandra has a big family, including his wife Vasundhara (Radhika) and three sons. He has a particular disdain for his youngest son, Bhanu, even though Bhanu is a caring and devoted son. Unfortunately, Bhanu is stuck doing all the household chores and feels pretty isolated from his family, except for his mom. When Swapna (Meena) comes to town for her brother's wedding to Bhanu's sister, she mistakenly thinks Bhanu is just a servant and looks down on him. But as she learns more about him, she falls for him. At first, Bhanu isn't interested, but eventually, he comes around to her feelings.Swapna confesses her love and asks Bhanu to marry her, and they tie the knot. When they return home, their parents are furious. Harischandra kicks Bhanu out, and he and Swapna start a new life on the outskirts of the village. They run into Madhavi, who mocks their situation, which motivates Bhanu to step up and prove himself. He vows to help Swapna become an IAS officer. While she studies for her IAS exams, she teaches Bhanu how to read, write, and do some math. With hard work, Bhanu becomes a successful businessman, and Swapna achieves her goal of becoming the District Collector. They also have a young son, Junior Harischandra Prasad (Master Anand Vardhan). By chance, Harischandra meets his grandson and forms a secret friendship with him, which brings joy to both Bhanu and Swapna. The question is whether Harischandra will change his mind and accept Bhanu and his family. That's where the story unfolds.
