Satyabhama is the Tamil-dubbed version of the Telugu movie of the same name. ACP Satyabhama (Kajal Aggarwal) is a police officer who cares most about her job. She is so focused on her duty that she is even late for her wedding to Amar, who is a writer. She is busy trying to save a young woman named Haseena from a bad relationship. Sadly, Satyabhama can't stop Haseena from being killed. This makes her feel very guilty because she promised Haseena and her younger brother, Iqbal, that she would protect her. Then, Iqbal disappears suddenly, and Satyabhama starts looking into this shocking new event. The first part of the movie shows how Haseena's death and Iqbal's disappearance throw Satyabhama's life into chaos. We also see her marriage and how Amar wants to have a baby, which would likely slow down her career. She feels torn between her job and her personal life, but at this point, her career is more important to her. How she resolves the case is the crux of the film. Flashbacks later help us understand the characters. The movie is a good thriller with a complex plot and good acting. The cast includes Kajal Aggarwal, Naveen Chandra, Harsha Vardhan, Prakash Raj, Payal Radhakrishna, and Neha Pathan. Overall, Satyabhama is an engaging crime thriller.
