Satya is an adolescent who belongs to a low-income family whose father, Gandhi, is a Dhobi and the breadwinner; his mother, Kaaliyammaal, is a homemaker, and his elder sister Lakshmi is a very mature and responsible girl. Satya is studying Inter First Class at a government college in Gajuwaka. He is very good at his studies. He had few friends in his school, and he used to play, roam and hang out with them. Satya often gets into trouble, and Gandhi joins him in a private convent school. Gandhi wants his son to get a good education, although it's expensive. Satya, who went from a government college to a corporate college, faces various forms of discrimination from his fellow students there.
