Rekhachithram is the dubbed version of a Malayalam movie of the same name. The story begins in 1985. A young girl named Rekha (Anaswara Rajan) is found missing during a movie shoot in Kerala. What happened to her remains a mystery for many years. In the present, a police officer named Vivek Gopinath (Asif Ali) is sent to a quiet town called Malakkappara after being suspended for gambling. On his first day, he investigates the suicide of an old man named Rajendran (Siddique). Before dying, Rajendran posted a video online confessing that he and two other men buried a body a long time ago. Vivek searches the forest and finds a skeleton and an anklet. After a lot of investigation, he finds out that these link back to the missing girl, Rekha. As Vivek investigates further, he meets Vincent (Manoj K. Jayan), a businessman. He later learns that he was involved in the events from 1985. What are the challenges Vivek faces in this case? What are the other shocking truths he discovers? What happened to Rekha?
