Rekhachithram is the dubbed version of a Malayalam movie of the same name. The story begins in 1985. A young girl named Rekha (Anaswara Rajan) is found missing during a movie shoot in Kerala. What happened to her remains a mystery for many years. In the present, a police officer named Vivek Gopinath (Asif Ali) is sent to a quiet town called Malakkappara after being suspended for gambling. On his first day, he investigates the suicide of an old man named Rajendran (Siddique). Before dying, Rajendran posted a video online confessing that he and two other men buried a body a long time ago. Vivek searches the forest and finds a skeleton and an anklet. After a lot of investigation, he finds out that these link back to the missing girl, Rekha. As Vivek investigates further, he meets Vincent (Manoj K. Jayan), a businessman.
