Hero Anand Deverakonda plays the role of Chittilanka Sundar. Sundar is a mathematics teacher in a Government School. He marries a beautiful girl, Meenakshi, played by Geet Saini. The marriage is arranged by the elders of both families. Sundar has beautiful romantic dreams about his married life and brings his wife to his flat in the city from the village. But Sundar is shocked after seeing her behaviour towards him, always staying away from him. Sundar learns that Meenakshi has a lover, but her parents push her into marriage with him by force. Meenakshi confesses that she is still in love with her boyfriend. One day, Meenakshi writes a letter and runs away from Sundar’s house. Sundar’s colleagues and teachers from his school forcibly make him agree to give them a party in his flat. Not knowing what to do to hide the fact about his eloped wife, Sundar brings in Rekha, an actress from short stories, played by Shanvi Meghana, to act as his wife. The letter written by Meenakshi states she was leaving to her boyfriend. But Sundar finds she is not with him. Shockingly, Meenakshi gets murdered, and the blame comes on to Sundar. SI Rangam, played by Sunil, enters to investigate. The Police doubt Sundar to be behind Meenakshi’s missing. But, as Sundar has a strong alibi, he gets bailed out by the Police. Sundar goes on a run to escape from the Police and find the mystery behind Meenakshi’s death.
