





Prematho Raa is a 2001 romantic drama starring Venkatesh as Chandu and Simran as Geeta. Chandu is a rich, irresponsible young man known for his carefree attitude and flirtatious ways. In stark contrast is his elder brother, Vijay (Suresh), a grounded and responsible person who is deeply in love with Sandhya (Prema). The story takes an unexpected turn when Chandu, who goes on a trip to Ooty. There, he meets Geeta, a beautiful and independent Girl. While Chandu is instantly captivated, Geeta resists his usual charm and keeps distance. But Chandu is determined to get close to her. Fo this, he Chandu pretends to have changed and has fallen in love with her. Believing it, Geeta reciprocates and they get intimate. The next morning, he returns home to attend his brothers wedding. Geeta is left hurt finding out that Chandu never really cared. The plot then delivers a shocking twist at Viajy's wedding. There, it is revealed that the bride-to-be, Sandhya, is none other than Geeta's elder sister. Sandhya reveals to everyone about Chandu's deceit and breaks off the wedding. Chandu is in remorse and begs Sandhya to rethink for the sake of Vijay. Sandhya then agrees to give him a six-month period in to set things straight. The rest of the film depicts Chandu's journey of self-transformation as he strives to mend broken relationships and regain the love and respect he so carelessly lost.
