In the movie pogaru,Shiva in his young age loses his father. The bad man JB kills Shiva’s father. Shiva’s mother Lakshmi is remarried by a Government official Ramakrishna, as per his word given to Shiva’s grandmother. Ramakrishna is a widower living alone with his daughter. But Shiva doesn’t accept this father, sister bond and remains alone growing up into a rogue. Shiva comes across Geetha, a teacher and falls in love with her. Shiva is hired by Dally, son of JB for his evil deeds. While JB is in attempts to grab over a colony officer Ramakrishna, stepdad of Shiva opposes him. Dally takes Shiva’s help to get Ramakrishna arrested. In the process, Shiva’s sister is taken a captive at Dally’s hideout. Emotions takeover and Shiva realises his sister’s love and affection towards him. Shiva revolts and fights against JB, Dally and his henchmen. Shiva’s sister is injured in the ongoing fight and gets admitted into a hospital. Shiva’s mother Lakshmi gets furious on Shiva and asks him to never show his face again and mess with her family. Shiva breaks down in vain. Shiva’s love Geetha who is away with differences gets back to Shiva after realising about his changed heart. Daali, son of antagonist JB is hurt bad in the fight and goes into a coma. JB gets furious with this and gets all the kids from colony kidnapped and attempts to burn all of them alive. Shiva gets into the arena of fight against JB’s evil deeds to save the kids. Shiva thrashes up all goons of JB and burns JB alive in the same fire he lit up to burn the kids alive. Story gets a happy ending by Shiva getting back with his family as a good man.
